  • You have real via ferrata experience and are looking for advanced K4 level (Les K4, Eth Taro d'Arties, Tossal de Miravet, Roca Carrera, Croqueta de Obarra).
Worth a second look

It might not be for you if…

  • You have a strong fear of heights or don't feel comfortable with exposure.
  • You want a K4 route with no previous via ferrata experience: it is not a good starting point, so begin with Torre de Cledes or Poi d'Unha.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us

01Which one should I choose for my first via ferrata?

Torre de Cledes, in Les. It is the most accessible of the seven, with 80 metres of equipped ascent, and suitable from 110 cm in height.

02What is the difference between the five advanced routes?

All five are graded K3-K4 or K4, but each has its own character: Les K4 is in the same village as Cledes but equipped in reverse (the first section is the hard one), with a 10 m Tibetan bridge; Eth Taro d'Arties combines K2 to K4+ sections with Nepalese bridges and a 100 m pendulum; Tossal de Miravet has 470 m of route with two Nepalese bridges and a zip line; Roca Carrera has a long vertical section beside a waterfall; Croqueta de Obarra is the longest and most demanding, with more than 400 m of ascent.

03Do I need previous experience?

Not for Torre de Cledes. For Poi d'Unha it helps to have done a via ferrata before. For the five advanced (K4) routes you do need real previous via ferrata experience and good fitness.

04What does the price include?

A certified specialist guide and all the technical equipment (helmet, harness, energy-absorbing lanyard). It does not include transport to the meeting point, or sports clothing and footwear.

05What if I'm afraid of heights?

It depends how severe it is. Let us know when you book so we can point you towards the most suitable route; on the advanced routes the exposure is greater.

06Can I combine two routes on the same day?

Torre de Cledes and Les K4 share the same car park and can be combined without moving. The others need separate days because of the logistics of each area.
