Frequently asked questions

What people ask us

01What are the FEEC's 100 cims?

A reference list of one hundred Catalan peaks drawn up by the Federació d'Entitats Excursionistes de Catalunya (FEEC), popular with mountaineers who tick off summits from the list. The Tuc de Port de Vielha is one of them.

02Do I need technical experience?

Not in normal summer conditions, but you do need to be used to walking on mountain terrain for a full day with sustained elevation gain.

03When will it be available with a fixed price and dates?

We are still finalising the guide and logistics for this trip. Get in touch if you are interested and we will let you know as soon as it is available.

04Is it harder than the Montcorbison?

Yes, it has more altitude and elevation gain than the Montcorbison. It is a good next step if you have already done that ascent or a similar one in the valley.

05Do I need technical equipment?

No, it does not require climbing gear. Standard mountain equipment (boots, layered clothing, poles) is enough in normal conditions.

06Can I go in a group with different fitness levels?

It is better if the group has a similar level of fitness, as this is a full day with sustained elevation gain. Tell us each person's level when you book.
