    Frequently asked questions

    What people ask us

01Do we always sleep in the open (bivouac)?

The unstaffed hut is the main and safest option, especially for beginners. A bivouac is only considered if regulations and the weather allow and the group has the right equipment.

02Is this an extreme survival activity?

No. It is not sold as survival training or extreme adventure, but as a well-supported night in the mountains, with the basics of responsible bushcraft and sound safety judgement at all times.

03How fit do I need to be?

Easy to moderate: you need to be able to walk with a light rucksack on the approach. The guide adapts the pace to the group.

    04What is the minimum age?

As a guide, from around 12-14 years old, depending on the group, the route and the conditions on the day.

05How much does the experience cost?

From €175 per person for the 2 days, with 1 night in an unstaffed hut.

    06When does it run?

From June to October, depending on snow, access and the weather each season.
